Make a sound in lesson one
First get the open strings and simple chords ringing. Theory comes later, picked up as you play — let your hands feel it first.
I'm Teacher Wei. This site is for absolute beginners: first get the guitar ringing, then gradually bring in rhythm, chords, and theory.
After you buy a guitar, the scary part isn't sore fingers — it's not knowing what to practice today.
Over the years I've watched so many people buy a guitar full of excitement, then set it down within two weeks. It's really not about talent — often no one ever told them: which string to tune first today, which string not to strum on Am, how slow to go when you're stuck.
So I built this site as a study room. Open it and start from lesson one, with a tuner, metronome, chord diagrams, and a song library right beside you. The moment something suddenly clicks — that moment is worth it.
The core lessons and practice tools are always open.
From holding the guitar and tuning, to singing along, fingerstyle, and improvising.
Tuner, metronome, chord diagrams, and ear training — all right in the browser.
First get the open strings and simple chords ringing. Theory comes later, picked up as you play — let your hands feel it first.
Lessons, songs, and tools are wired together. Stuck on the F chord, rhythm, or tuning? You'll find a way to practice it right there.
Open the site on your phone, iPad, or computer. Your progress is saved on your device, so you can pick up right where you left off.

The lesson sequence, chord diagrams, practice tools, song library, and original fingerstyle pieces on this site were all built up by me, piece by piece. If you find a mistake, something unclear, or want a feature or a song, head to the feedback box and tell me. This site grows along with your feedback.
What I say most in lessons:
It's about putting in the reps. At some point you'll suddenly notice: the hand that was stuck yesterday gets through it on its own today.

The core lessons and tools stay free forever. But if a lesson really saved you somewhere, you can scan with WeChat and buy me a coffee.
Entirely voluntary — it changes nothing about everything staying free to use.

Voluntary tip
Ring out one small phrase today.
Start from lesson one and follow along for ten minutes. Get the guitar making sound first — the rest of the road gets a lot clearer.
